Full-Time Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon / Dermatologist Job in Central Ohio
Job-9396
myDermRecruiter partnering with a physician-led dermatology group in Central Ohio seeking a Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon to expand its surgical services across two practice locations.
The practice currently refers approximately 800 - 900 Mohs cases annually, creating an opportunity to bring more of this care in-house. The position will initially combine Mohs surgery, surgical dermatology and medical dermatology, with the potential to develop into a 100% Mohs practice as surgical volume grows.
Why consider this role:
- Existing demand for Mohs surgery: The practice currently refers out a substantial Mohs volume annually, providing an established source of potential surgical volume rather than relying exclusively on developing new referral relationships.
- Opportunity to grow into 100% Mohs: You'll initially spend approximately 60% of your clinical time performing Mohs surgery, with the potential to transition toward a fully dedicated Mohs schedule as demand supports expansion.
- A balanced initial clinical schedule: You'll maintain a diverse procedural practice with an anticipated mix of 60% Mohs, 20% surgical dermatology and 20% medical dermatology.
- Physician-led practice environment: You'll work within a dermatologist-owned organization with an emphasis on medical and surgical dermatology and clinical decision-making guided by physicians.
- Clinical support and staffing continuity: The practice reports no provider or support staff turnover since opening and provides a minimum of two medical assistants, with additional assistance dependent on patient volume.
